In Cyberpunk 2077, V can customized to fit all sorts of different play styles. Here is the best Blunt Bruiser build, a fun and brutal build.

Cyberpunk 2077 has a plethora of guns, swords, knives, and tech to ravage the hostile enemies of Night City, but sometimes, the greatest fun is bashing a foe over the head with V's fist or a plain, old shovel. With the release of Cyberpunk's new Edgerunner update, the Blunt Bruiser build has some new pathways to amp up the damage and bludgeon anyone who gets in a player's way. What the build lacks in subtlety and stealth is more than made up with raw, rampaging power.

For all builds in Cyberpunk 2077, from the Blunt Bruiser to the best build for a whole game experience, spending attribute points wisely is vital. With about 70 points to invest in the five attributes, (Body, Cool, Intelligence, Reflexes, Technical Ability), three of these will take precedence over the remaining two. To start the Blunt Bruiser build, players should max out the Body attribute first and foremost (20 points). As for the perks in the Body category, Street Brawler should be scoured for the best abilities, followed by Athletics for its sustainability. Next, Cool's Cold Blood will stack status effect on enemies as well as give V armor and resistances to stay in punching (and killing range) longer. Finally, Reflexes will increase V's crit chance and damage, but players so only skim the perks in this attribute and focus heavily on the Body and Cool perks.

After V's attributes are taken care of, finding the best blunt weapons will be just as weapons. There are several epic melee weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 to choose from, but the top two weapons for this build have to be the Caretaker's Spade and the Gold-Plated Baseball Bat for their devastating damage. Coupling these two weapons with the boosts from Street Brawler will turn one swing into an instant guillotine. For armor, it largely depends on personal preference and fashion choice, but focusing on mods and armor that increase crit chance and crit damage will do wonders.

Last but certainly not least, is Cyberware, starting with a proper Cyberpunk 2077 Cyberdeck. While the Sandevistans' time slow could give stealth players a boost, especially with their legendary mod, the Berserk decks are best for this build as they will up the carnage to maximum levels. After OS is picked, the high Body, Cool, and Reflexes will give legendary upgrades to the Circulatory, Immune, and Nervous Systems respectively. Players should invest their Eddies in that order to guarantee a rampage for the ages.

There are also a couple of implants that can be substituted to give players a more unique style and further allow them to compete with other Cyberpunk 2077 melee builds. Substituting either of the two Skeleton Cyberwares for the Microvibration Generator will increase the base damage for any melee weapon. Replacing Cataresist with Shock-N-Awe will definitely earn major style points as it has a ten percent chance to send out an electroshock to damage nearby enemies.

In either case, adding the Gorilla Arms Cyberware is the last piece of the Blunt Bruiser build, as they boost the Body attributes even further, giving V the ability to be a walking wrecking ball through Night City and Cyberpunk 2077.
